Salt Lake Adventures

We just returned from a weekend visit to Salt Lake City. Brieann's cousin returned from his mission in Mexico and was giving a talk in church. So the family packed up, got on an airplane and went to the snowy country. While there we visited Mark's family, introduced Emily to her Great Grandma Richards, and visited with countless cousins, aunts, and uncles on Brieann's side.
Somehow the camera would only take pictures of Emily and here's some of them...
Emily and her on again off again pal. She wasn't sure whether or not she liked the "Wra-ra's". After this picture Emily succeeded in kicking Doc out of his bed.

We tried to feed the geese, but Emily was too upset over her parents not letting her get into the water for anyone to enjoy it. She would have chased these birds right off the edge if no one had stopped her.

At a restaurant, Emily had her first ice cream cone. The cone was baby sized, but somehow the ice cream wasn't. She ate the whole thing, and thanks to Uncle Matt she got a second!

At the local Aquarium Emily wasn't so impressed with the fish as she was with playing with rocks and water. Above and to the left is a picture of Emily climbing on rocks she is not supposed to. On the right is her great example of a mommy.

And the secret to a trip with a baby...cat naps for everyone!

Emily's Thrones

Anyone who knows Emily, knows that she is a spoiled little Princess. And as all Princesses, she has her thrones.
There's one used to look out on her kingdom...
...one that takes her to all her social obligations...

...those that she eats in...

...and one just her size.

Cop In Training

Mark recently graduated from the police academy. While at a celebratory party, donuts were passed around. What's a cop party without donuts? Emily was not willing to share her treat and thoroughly enjoyed every bite.

While the donut was a big hit with her, everyone else was raving about her bib. It was suggested that an adult version would be popular.
