Confused???

This last Friday we were getting ready to take the girls to their doctors appointments. Brieann asked Emily what she wanted to wear. Emily replied, "This, doggy" pointing to her dog costume. Guess she thought it was Halloween time.

So Emily got to wear her dog costume for a few minutes. We changed her before going to the doctors though.Then on Saturday we were getting ready to go to Home Depot. Again Emily wanted to wear her dog costume. So again she wore it for a few minutes until she got tired of having pictures taken of her.Here she is halfway getting undressed. She had to stop to play with Faye, what a good big sister.

Easter Egg Hunting

With the recent Easter Emily had to opportunity to look for Easter Eggs. We had some friends over the Friday before Easter so the kids could hunt for eggs.

After finding all the eggs Emily and her friend Raquel went for a drive. Looks like it's time for a bigger car.

Emily even shared some of the eggs she found with Faye.

We were going to go over to Brieann's family on Saturday for another egg hunt there, but things got busy so we went on Monday after Easter. Faye spent the night being portered around by her Grandpa Richards.

Utilizing her experience gained from last Christmas, Emily made quick work of the presents.

Faye might have even picked up a few pointers from her big sister.

Any Easter would not be complete without the traditional egg hunt. Emily quickly became a pro at finding the eggs...most of the time.

She became so proficient that she could pose for a picture while picking up eggs. Of course this resulted in some eggs falling out of her basket.

Emily enjoyed discovering what the eggs held.

Playtime at the Park

We recently took advantage of some nice weather here in Vegas and went to a local park with Brieann's family for a picnic. Emily took advantage of the open area to run around.

Faye was thinking, "You better share some of that strawberry pie with me Aunt Danielle."

Emily got to play on the fun playground equipment. Here she is holding on for dear life as she slides from one platform to the next. Emily even enjoyed some time on the swing. Now whenever we pass the park she asks to go on it again.

"Uncle Chase, are you awake?"

Emily even braved crossing the bridge all by herself.

Emily likes the twisty slide. She tried the enclosed tunnel slide, but did not like it much.

It was a fun day with good food.
