We've tried to do better but we still don't post much. Here is an update on what has happened during the last month.
Brieann decided that she wanted redecorate. That means getting new furniture, painting and building new things. To make room for the new furniture (which we are still waiting on two weeks later) we got rid of our "old" couches. That gives Faye lots of room to "play."
It was not too long ago that Emily was doing something similar.
I also built some new shelves, both in the garage and inside. We needed more storage space so I decided to build the shelves the only place left, above the garage door. I only have half of them built, but it added lots of storage space. After they were finished (which included some grinding and sanding to allow clearance), we were happy with the results.
We also got rid of our huge computer desk that was taking up a corner in the living room. I built a desk and shelves at the top of the stairs. Brieann will also use the desk for her many crafts.
We still need to paint the hallway which will make the desk and shelves stand out more.
It has also been getting hot here. That means lots of swimming. Emily filled her little pool the other day, but she was not happy with it.
Faye just wanted to escape.
Faye also got a bacterial infection in her eye. A trip to the doctor, a shot, and daily medicine has her better already.
Emily has been running crazy. Brieann and I went to the movies the other day and when we got back we asked how the girls were. The baby sitter's reply, "Emily has a lot of energy." Fortunately, that energy eventually runs out.
